Ascension Lutheran Church

Our “Slinky Service” is a family friendly worship celebration that is open to God’s children of all ages. This worship celebration follows the Lutheran tradition and uses the latest technology for Bible presentations and musical offerings.

Each new participant receives a rainbow colored slinky. It is requested that you bring this slinky to every worship celebration and use it as the Spirit leads. The rainbow slinky reminds us of the promise that God attached to the rainbow. The flow of the slinky reminds us of the flow of God’s Holy Spirit in the Christian Life we share.

Children of all ages are welcome to our worship celebration. (Remaining in pews is optional. Participants are asked to dance, sing, and move as the spirit leads in the pews or aisles.)
